Travelling
Resource Teachers say Thank You
For
the last three and half years, the Richmond
Resource Teachers have been the envy of many other areas thanks
to the generosity of Autoworld. The local firm donated a van to
the travelling teachers who donate their time to the children with
special educational and behavioural needs.
Sue
Martyn, Ali Brodie and Jan McKenzie travel around schools in the
Waimea area and out as far as Foxhill. They work with agencies,
children parents and teachers promoting the adaptation of programmes
so that children with special needs can remain included in classrooms
rather than working in isolation, as was the case some years ago.
Jan
McKenzie said the pursuit of van came about because teachers needed
to get out to different areas and to transport special needs children
on outings. "Autoworld was the first company I approached and they
said yes straight away. They have been absolutely marvellous taking
care of warranting the vehicles, registration, and maintenance.
In fact the other thing we have to take care of is the petrol."
Dear
Autoworld
On behalf of the Nelson Western performance riders I would like
to thank you sincerely for your generous donation.
Without
support from people such as yourself it would be very difficult
for us to continue holding club events.
Again
thank you very much we are extremely grateful.
Yours
faithfully

Dear
Autoworld
Waimea
Old Boys Rugby Football Club thank you for your generous support
of our Club.
Support
from sponsors such as yourselves, assist us to offset the rising
costs of running an effective club, and will help our teams to remain
competitive at all levels. We are aware of the problems associated
with running a business in today's competitive environment, and
appreciate the extra effort you have made to sponsor our Club.
Yours faithfully
